Landau Eugene Murphy Jr, the season 6 winner of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” helped crown the winner of Georgia’s Dream Night Talent Search Saturday night June 15th at the Forum River Center in Rome GA, a suburb of Atlanta.

Kenna Denease traveled all the way from Texas to Georgia to out-perform over two dozen other very strong contestants. The young vocalist wowed Landau and the other judges including music industry vets like Bernard Porter from PGC Universal and Wendy Kay from Utopia Artists.

“It’s always fun and an honor to encourage these young kids starting out in music; I tell them to dream big, and that’s what the Dream Night Talent Search is all about…following your dreams, but keeping your feet on the ground and getting good advice along the way,” said Murphy.

Kenna won the opportunity to perform with Landau, a $1,000.00 cash prize, a front of line pass to audition for America’s Got Talent or The Voice, a private music career consultation from PGC Universal, a music distribution agreement from Sony Red and thousands of dollars worth of prizes including multiple media interviews and marketing packages to help her launch her budding career in music.

In keeping with Landau’s core mission to “do well by doing good”, all Dream Night Talent Search registration proceeds benefit St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.

Landau wrapped up his weekend in Atlanta with two sold-out performances on Father’s Day June 16th at the legendary Velvet Note in Alpharetta alongside Atlanta music icons Joe Gransden on trumpet and Kenny Banks on piano.

Landau’s next appearances include stops at the Wayne Theatre in Waynesboro VA June 21st, a signing of his best-selling book “From Washing Cars to Hollywood Star” June 22nd at the American Library Association Summer Conference in Washington DC, and two performances at Georgetown’s storied Blues Alley June 23rd.
