Do you want Landau on America’s Got Talent: The Champions

Many of you have been asking whether Landau would be participating in upcoming America’s Got Talent: The Champions in January.

Landau is very grateful that there is such an interest in him returning to AGT, and would certainly be open to exploring the possibilities if his schedule permits.

If you’d like to see Landau back on AGT, tweet @SimonCowell and @Jason_Raff or post on their FB timeline and let them know.

Everything to Know About Simon Cowell’s ‘America’s Got Talent: The Champions’ Spinoff

AGT’s Simon Cowell has big plans up his sleeve for the new show.

Gone are the days waiting until the summer to watch your favorite variety show. Now, you’ll get to enjoy America’s Got Talent in the colder months too thanks to a new spinoff called America’s Got Talent: The Champions, coming to NBC this winter. Exciting, right?

If you’re stoked about the new edition of the reality franchise, you’ll be really happy to learn about the details of the show. From what we know so far, it sounds like things are about to get really competitive!

America’s Got Talent: The Champions is rumored to premiere in January.

Unfortunately, we don’t have an official premiere date locked down from NBC yet, but some outlets suspect the show will air on Monday nights starting in January. But who knows, maybe we’ll get an early holiday present and the show will come back even sooner. Not to worry either way — we’ll let you know once we hear something.

The show will have contestants from past AGT seasons.

The premise is to round up the winners and/or most notable contestants from seasons 1-13 and have them face off head-to-head to see who is the ultimate America’s Got Talent top act. None of the acts are confirmed yet, but think along the lines of singer Grace Avery VanderWaal (season 11), ventriloquist Terry Fator (season 2), and, of course, the dog trick act Olate Dogs (season 7). Competition aside, it’ll be a great chance to see what your favorite stars from the show are up to now and what their lives have been like since becoming famous.

AGT: The Champions will have competitors from all over the world.

America’s Got Talent: The Champions will not just showcase the very best from the U.S. apparently. The show will pull top acts from global versions of the AGT franchise too. This means the new series could include winners from Britain’s Got TalentBelgium’s Got TalentGot Talent PortugalSri Lanka’s Got Talent, and many, many more from around the world.

“I have always wanted to have a competition show for the very best of the best Got Talent acts from around the world,” Simon Cowell proclaimed in a statement when announcing the show. “The variety and the talents of the acts who enter Got Talent globally are incredible and unbelievable.”

(Don’t know about you, but we’re really hoping for the triumphant return of Susan Boyle!)

The show will take place in the U.S.

“Since America’s Got Talent was where it all started, I’m absolutely delighted to be launching this on NBC,” Simon spilled. Though the Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California is the current home of AGT, we don’t know yet whether Champions will also take in the same venue.

Simon Cowell will be a judge and executive producer.

Our feelings exactly. We all know it just wouldn’t be AGT without Simon, which is why we’re pumped that the judge has agreed to return to the winter edition and resume his duty to pick talent. The rest of the judging panel hasn’t been chosen quite yet.
