How long have you been playing?: For 51 years

What do you do when you’re not playing with Landau?: I’m a professor of trombone at Marshall University and a Principal Trombone with the Huntington Symphony.

Who are some other notable artists you’ve played with or gigs you’ve played?: Ella Fitzgerald, the Temptations, the Stylistics, Frank Sinatra, Jr., LeAnn Rimes, Crystal Gayle, Bugs Bunny on Broadway, Video Games Live, St. Louis Symphony, South Carolina Philharmonic

What’s your most memorable Landau gig?: I enjoy all of them!

What’s your favorite part of playing with Landau?: I appreciate the high level of musicianship and the camaraderie.

What are some of your hobbies and other interests?: I enjoy bicycling, running, and hiking.

What advice do you have for young musicians?: Find people to play with who play better than you; it lifts your level. Find a good teacher. Practice.
