HEIDI’S CELEBRATION OF LIFE OUTDOOR CONCERT POSTPONED
After much consideration, and in light of the ongoing and developing situation concerning coronavirus and restrictions on travel and public gatherings, the Sunday March 22nd 2020 parade and free outdoor concert in downtown Cocoa Beach FL honoring the life of Heidi Deleuil, longtime owner of Heidi’s Jazz Club, has been postponed.
Landau says that he was very much looking forward to participating in the event with other musicians from around the world, helping to honor the life of my friend Heidi, but I fully support this decision that was made with everyone’s best interest and safety in mind.
Landau and his band were performing at Heidi’s, an annual tour stop for the group, in January this year on the evening that Heidi passed.
Heidi’s Jazz Club enjoys a worldwide reputation and has hosted many of the biggest names in jazz and popular music for over three decades. The club and adjoining award-winning Heidelberg restaurant continue to flourish under the direction of Heidi’s husband and business partner Edmund “Eddie” Deleuil.
Landau hopes to participate in the show, schedule permitting, later this year. “We all love Eddie and will be there to support him anyway we can.”
